HICKS Jean On the 8th October 2018 our beautiful mam, nan and friend left this earth to be reunited with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband Bill. Deeply missed by her children Stephen, Jackie, Julie, Michael, Rachael and Amanda, respected mother-in-law to Nigel, Berny, Joanna and Brian, nan to 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, a loving sister, auntie and foster mother to many. Funeral service will be held today, at 1.00pm, the 18th October, at St. Mary's Church, Windermere, followed by internment at Bowness cemetery. Thanks to St. Mary's surgery and to the excellent care given by the district nurses. Family flowers only, but donations, to Derian House Children's Hospice, would be gratefully appreciated because mam loved children so much c/o Edmondson Longmire Funeral Service, The Chapel, Glebe Road, Bowness on Windermere, Cumbria, LA23 3HB.
