LORD Betty On the 17th August 2019, peacefully at Heversham House, Heversham, BETTY aged 88 years. Much loved wife of the late Alan, mother and grandmother. Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St. Bartholomew's Church, Barbon on Tuesday 10th September 2019 at 2.00pm. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Barbon Church c/o Fishwicks Funeral Services, Beetham Hall, Beetham, LA7 7BQ, Tel. 015395 63108.

As an ex-Churchwarden at Barbon, and a long-time member of Barbon Walkers, we both have our very happy memories of our association with Betty over the years. We are very saddened by this news.

The family take comfort that she is now at rest.
