BARKER Peter Aged 84 of Kendal passed away at home. Peter was a retired Methodist minister and well know in Kendal as the organist at St Georges and lately St Oswalds Burneside. A keen actor in Pantomimes, Gilbert & Sullivan and other production in Kendal. A true gentleman and a friend to many will be greatly missed. Service to take place on Thursday 15th July, at St. Oswald's Church, at 11:00am.

Peter was a fellow Methodist Minister and good friend over many years. We visited each other over the years and I remember the warm hospitality of his Kendal retirement home. He was a man of many parts - gifted as a preacher/ organist and performer. He will be greatly missed by myself and many friends.
