    A HOLIDAYMAKER had her £450 handbag pinched while on a break in Bowness. Thieves struck at the Albert Hotel on Friday, taking the black leather bag which contained a £250 red Sony camera, a Samsung mobile phone and a leather purse worth £75.

    BALES of hay worth £50 were stolen from Folly Buildings at Casterton overnight last Thursday. Thieves also took two large chains which were securing the farm premises.
