DIRECTIONS Leaving Grange over Sands and proceeding in the direction of Kendal along the A590, continue past the petrol station and the sign for Witherslack and take the next left-hand turn signposted for Beck Head and Mill Side. Continue over the cattle grid and proceed straight ahead for a quarter of a mile, before taking a right-hand turn opposite a phone box signposted for Beck Head only. Follow the road along on the lower road for a quarter of a mile and continue over a small bridge with a duck sign.
