BASKET maker Lorna Singleton's beautiful hand-woven pieces will be on show at Kendal's Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry in the new year.
The Burneside craftswoman is one of just four people in the world keeping alive the ancient tradition of 'swilling', or making oak baskets.
The exhibition, Lorna Singleton: Modern Basketry is to open on January 19, 2019 and will give visitors chance to try their hand at weaving.
