THE Rothay Manor hotel in Ambleside has been awarded a third AA Rosette for the quality of its dining experience.
Just a few months since Rothay Manor’s restaurant was re-vamped as part of a £1m refurbishment project, inspectors described its food offering as being of an “exceptional standard”, resulting in today’s boost from a two-Rosette rating, to three.
The restaurant is led by head chef Daniel McGeorge whose team creates imaginative dishes from a three-course a la carte menu described by the hotel as “modern English”.
AA Rosette inspectors were impressed by Daniel’s traditional menu with a modern twist, highlighting the consistency and balance of flavours.
