Schools across the country, primary and secondary, are in for a seasonal surprise this spring/summer!

TV gardener Charlie Dimmock has teamed up with EBLEX Ltd to encourage future generations to take an interest in their food and get green fingered, offering one lucky school a gardening lesson session with Charlie herself.

Charlie will teach pupils how to make the most out of gardening plots, educate on the benefits of knowing and understanding the origins of our food, from the meat we eat to the fruit and vegetables in season. Plus, help pupils plant accompaniments for the season ahead including marrows, courgettes, squashes and herbs that grow back every year.

Charlie Dimmock, well known gardener and TV presenter said; "I am supporting this campaign, Be Ace of Spades with Charlie Dimmock, as children are the future and I believe it is important for them to be aware and more knowledgeable about the food they eat, and where it comes from.

"What better way than to learn first hand from someone like myself who can teach, inspire and provide tips to encourage you to understand seasonality and locality of food and get growing. Just make sure you nominate your local school to be in with a chance of winning, as soon as possible, and I could be coming to a school near you this summer."

Entry is simple, just nominate the school (primary and secondary) you think is most deserving, explain why and Charlie will select the winner. Email your nomination and explanation to tuckin@goodrelations.co.uk or visit www.tuck-in.com (entries must be received before June 16.
