ENGLISH Touring Opera returns to the region next month as part of its spring tour.
The popular operatic company will perform Mozart's comic jewel The Seraglio on May 4 (7.30pm) and Tchaikovsky's romantic masterpiece Eugene Onegin the following night (May 5, 7.30pm), both at Kendal's Westmorland Hall.
Both operas have opened in London, and I'm informed that ETO has received plenty of plaudits for both productions.
