THE next recital in the Grange-over-Sands and District Concert Club's programme stars one of the UK's most loved and respected pianists.
Ulverston-based Martin Roscoe - who is professor of piano at the Guildhall School of Music in London - performs at the Victoria Hall on Friday, June 30 (8pm), previewing part of the Schubert concert he'll play the following week at London's Wigmore Hall to celebrate his 65th birthday. Martin's Grange concert continues with a French theme, with works by Ravel, Poulenc, Faure and Debussy.
Admission at the door.
