ROLAND Fudge picks up the Westmorland Youth Orchestra baton for the final time for the talented ensemble's summer concert at Kendal Parish Church on Saturday, July 1 (7.30pm).
One of the region's most respected musical figures, Roland has been at the helm of WYO for six years with many more spent as its string coach. The programme features a varied selection of music, including Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf Suite, a bassoon concerto by Vivaldi, excerpts from The Planets by Holst, and Roland's own orchestral suite Earth Dwellers.
Welcome music will be provided from 7pm.
