SOME of the finest artists in UK live and work in Cumbria and during the festive season many will be exhibiting their work at Farfield Mill.
In all more than 50 artists are showing a selection of wood, ceramics, textiles, photographs and paintings, at the Sedbergh arts and heritage centre, plus paper cuts, ceramics, wooden boxes and felt jewellery and more courtesy of members of Kendal's acclaimed Green Door co-operative. Also, the Craft Council has selected three Cumbrian artists for their prestigious Hot House emerging artists scheme: Beatrix Baker, Charlie Whinney, and Will Pegler, who are all exhibiting at Farfield, plus there is a major exhibition of paintings of the sea and coastline by Ros White.
