KESWICK Music Society is staging a half-term family concert by Ensemble 360 at Theatre by the Lake on Sunday, February 17 (3pm) with a mountain goat centre stage.

An hour of fun for the family, Giddy Goat is a theatrical story for children, narrated, with live music and screen projection, with a lot of audience participation, songs and actions. Giddy is a mountain goat who suffers from vertigo. He has no head for heights and can't join in the games of his fellow rock climbing goats who know no fear and can leap plunging ravines. Help him in his adventure to discover his ‘inner goat’ and rescue his friend. Produced by Sheffield-based Music in the Round the story is told through songs and actions by five musicians: violin, cello, oboe, horn and piano, plus narrator with a large film screen. The musicians, animators, narrators, and composers aim to inspire and engage children in musical activities and their unique brand of concerts are informal, relaxed and friendly, playing to sell out audiences. Afterwards the musicians will be around to talk to the audience. Tickets are free for under 18s. Box office 017687-74411.
