TRUMPET players Chris Lewis and Derek Raffell (doubling flugelhorn, Eflat and piccolo trumpet), Stuart Gray, trombone, Chris Senior, French horn and Stephen Boyd, tuba, will take the Grange-over-Sands and District Concert Club audience on a musical journey of various styles from classical to jazz with a touch of witty commentary along the way, on Friday, June 7 (8pm).
Regarded by many as the the north east's premier brass ensemble, the guys are best known as the Prince Bishops Brass Quintet.
Also coming up in the club's popular season of Victoria Hall concerts are Beatrice Hubble, oboe, Tom Evans, clarinet, and Richard Beards, bassoon: Trio Volant, on July 5.
