TRIO Volant performs the next concert in the Grange-over-Sands and District's 2019 season on Friday, July 5 (8pm) at the Victoria Hall.
Oboist, Beatrice Hubble, clarinettist, Tom Evans and bassoon player, Richard Beards, met as students at the Royal Northern College of Music and formed the trio in 2010. They have a wealth of solo, chamber music and orchestral experience between them, were awarded the Dorothy Parkinson Memorial Award for Young British Musicians in 2017 and are currently Recommended and Selected Artists for Making Music 2019-2020. The award-winning woodwind threesome's programme includes Canteloube's Rustiques, Beethoven's Variations a la ci darem la Mano from Don Giovanni, Mozart's Divertimento No 5 and Cecilia McDowall Century Dances.
