NEW York City based band The Slambovian Circus of Dreams are touring the UK and playing The Platform at Morecambe on Tuesday, July 9 (7.30pm). Starting off as the Ancestors in the 1990s the band have taken all that is good in folk, country and Americana with a top twist of Pink Floyd. Described as "rootsy psychedelica," by Elmore magazine (USA) and "mightily impressive, hugely original rock from the cool end of Americana," by Maverick, UK, committed Slambovian disciple and fan Garth Hudson of The Band hails frontman Joziah Longo as "an awesome songwriter."
The Platform is located at Station Buildings, Marine Road Central.
