ALMOST two years since they played the opening of Barrow's Canteen, British Sea Power, are sailing back into port.
The Kendal-born four-piece will return to their roots on Tuesday (November 6) as part of a nationwide tour - and this time they've got backup in the form of fellow Kendalians, Wild Beasts.
Independently, BSP have earned a bit of a reputation for their performances. Their venues are more often than not off the beaten track - such as their November 9 gig at Britain's highest pub, the Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales - and robots and grizzly bears have both been spotted on-stage with them.
Coupled together with the loveable eccentrics that are Wild Beasts, anything could happen when the bands step up on stage after warm-ups from Ambleside-based The Witch and The Robot.
