ONE of Britain’s best-known character actors, Timothy West, portrays Czech composer Leos Janacek in a semi-staged performance at the Old Laundry with chamber group Ensemble 360.
Intimate Letters is part of the Bowness theatre’s Season and staged on Friday, November 25 (8pm) with Timothy delivering the monologue devised by the writer and broadcaster Paul Allen drawn from letters and Janacek’s other writings and reported remarks.
