GOODMAN Rosamond (Ros) Ros passed away peacefully on Monday 25th December 2023 at Salford Royal Hospital with her beloved daughter, Jane, holding her hand aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Much loved mum of Jane and Guy and mother-in-law to Don and Louisa. Treasured grandma to Oscar, Ben, Adam and George. Dear sister to Olive and the late Alan and Jane. Much loved by all her family. The funeral service and interment will take place at Jesus Church, Troutbeck on Friday 26th January 2024 at 1.00pm. Wearing of bright colours encouraged. Flowers welcomed or donations if preferred to either N. W. Air Ambulance, St John's Hospice or St. Mary's Hospice. All enquiries and donations to Hayes & Parkinson Ltd.

Ros was the dearest friend to my mother, Elaine Douglas (Elaine Cottle before she remarried), when our family lived in Kendal and since. Such a wonderfully kind, bright and thoughtful presence. I can imagine how much she will be missed by her family. The thoughts of my wife Philippa and I are with you
