THWAITES Gordon William, aged 97, passed away peacefully at St Gregory's Care Home, Preston Patrick on 4th February 2024. Formerly from Castle Carrick, Barrows Green and Kentmere. Gordon will be missed by his beloved wife, Joan; his son, Lindsey; his grandchildren, Matthew and Isobel; and his daughter-in-law, Catherine. Gordon's funeral will be at St Cuthbert's Church, Kentmere at 12 noon on Thursday 29th February with refreshments afterwards at Kentmere Institute. Family flowers only and any donations, if desired, to MacMillan Cancer Support, who looked after Gordon and Joan's dear daughter, Hilary, who sadly passed away in 2013 and is still missed greatly.
