EARL Jack Formerly of Heversham, passed peacefully on Saturday 9th March 2024 at Hollow Oak Nursing Home, Haverthwaite with family by his side, aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Eileen, devoted father of Elizabeth, Donna and the late Roger, loving grandad and great grandad, brother, uncle and friend to many. Funeral service will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Wednesday 10th April at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired, to Langdale/Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team can be made online via fishwicksfunerals.co.uk. Enquiries tel: 015395 63108.

My thoughts are with you all today. Jack was a very good long-time friend of my mum and dad, and a lovely man. He brought warmth, kindness and humour with him every time we met. This is the Jack I will remember and the one I’m sure you will be celebrating today. Sadness is a natural part of grieving but fond memories last forever. Phil Sellers x

Jack was a dear and great friend to my parents, Bill and Ruth Sellers and particularly admired by my father. A true gentleman full of generosity and modesty. It was an honour and privilege to get to know him a little. Sending love to you all from Judith Collins ( nee Sellers).
