JUMPSUITS are jumping back into our wardrobes quicker than you can say 70s perm and I am slightly wary of this comeback....
The jumpsuit can be difficult to pull off and quite frankly difficult to get off after a few drinks...but that’s just my experience so don’t be put off.
Fashion magazines are calling them ‘chic’ and ‘versatile’ so my opinion could be swayed. Jumpsuits can be a perfect alternative to a party dress and with the right pair of heels and accessories you can create a look of elegance...without the dodgy perm.
If you’re a jumpsuit virgin, go for black first. You will be sure to look effortlessly stylish. Think gold bangles and slick hair - very Victoria Beckham. As always, TopShop is well and truly on the ball with hundreds of styles to choose from, from elegant black jumpsuits, to floral, flowing all-in-ones to baggy army boiler suits.
I love this black number. At £55 it may be a little bit pricey but I guarantee you’ll be pulling it out of the wardrobe for a night out with the girls EVERY weekend.
If you don’t want to brave the ‘full’ jumpsuit look, try a shorter version. I am 100 per cent a jumpsuit convert (easily swayed) after seeing this floral print beauty from TopShop (£48). Although not quite the weather yet, a pair of sandals, sunglasses, tanned legs and you too will be jumping on that jumpsuit bandwagon quicker than you can say Saturday Night Fever.
