ONE man has been charged, and another arrested, in connection with an alleged stabbing in Barrow over the weekend.
Police were called at 4:30pm on Saturday to Broad Close, Barrow.
A 36-year-old man from Barrow was taken to Furness General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Jason McAllister, 37, of Foundry Street, Barrow, has been charged with a Section 18 GBH Wounding With Intent in connection with the incident.
A 46-year-old-man has also been arrested on suspicion of GBH Wounding With Intent. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
