WILDLIFE charity Butterfly Conservation is teaming up with the crafts people, garden centre and woodland managers at Halecat, near Witherslack, to celebrate the Morecambe Bay Limestone area’s special butterflies.
An open day runs from 10.30am to 4 pm on June 5 with guided walks from butterfly experts and a treasure trail for children in the woods.
Drop-in craft sessions will be held and workshops will reveal how wildlife lovers can turn their gardens into a butterfly haven.
Experts will also be on hand to reveal top tips for identifying butterfly species.
