FIREFIGHTERS were called out twice to Sedbergh to tackle an open air blaze and a rubbish fire.
Crews extinguished the small rubbish fire on Main Street at 2am today (June 2).
They were called out again at 5.30am after there were reports of smoke being seen at Winder Fell.
Fire and rescue team members made their way to the area on foot and found a small fire at the bottom of the fell which they put out.
