SPEED limits in all or parts of Kendal could be slashed after town councillors agreed to consider a ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ campaign.
A Task Group was set up to look into the idea of working with Cumbria County Council to reduce the speed limit in the town to 20mph.
Coun Giles Archibald said that in other areas, Twenty’s Plenty had reduced the number of accidents as well as noise and pollution levels.
