A CUMBRIAN police officer is throwing caution to the wind by taking part in a skydive to raise money for CFM Radio’s Cash For Kids charity.
Inspector Helen Harkins will join 19 people in the Santa and Friends skydive on November 16 at Grange-over-Sands.
The skydive is part of the charity’s Mission Christmas programme which aims to ensure that every child has a present to open on Christmas day.
Temporary Inspector Helen Harkins, who hopes to raise £400, said: “Every child deserves to have a gift to open up on Christmas Day and this is a charity which the Constabulary is very supportive of.
