THOUSANDS of pounds worth have sheep have been snatched from a North Yorkshire moor.
North Yorkshire police said 14 Swaledale sheep worth £2,520 were stolen from Keasden Moor between November 1 and November 14.
All the sheep are said to have had electronic ear tags, were marked with a red mark on the rump and have both horns branded with the letter 'W'.
It is believed that the offenders would have needed 'decent' working dogs to round up the sheep.
