ENTERPRISING pupils at Kendal's Dean Gibson Primary School designed, made and sold Christmas-themed products to raise money for a defibrillator.
"They design, cost out, make and then market their product through posters and publicity within school," said headteacher Sarah Tansey.
The defibrillator came via a charity called Hand on Heart who secured a lottery bid to fund defibrillators in several Cumbrian schools.
The charity have organised training for teachers and will also run workshops on basic first aid for Year Six pupils.
