A CHARITY which prevents homelessness in South Lakeland has announced plans to provide a pop-up soup kitchen at Kendal's Bird Cage on Friday as part of Poverty & Homelessness Action Week.
Representatives of Manna House will be raising awareness of issues facing those who are homeless at this event and also at a coffee morning to be held at Kendal Town Hall between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday (Jan 24) and a sponsored swim at Kendal’s Leisure Centre from 3-5pm on the same day.
