WESTMORLAND and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron held a Farmers' Forum at Heversham to discuss a range of issues, including the dairy sector, animal disease, poultry issues and the need for a national food production strategy.
After the meeting, on Friday, he said: "Rural communities like ours need a strong voice so that we can stand up for a better deal for farming."
