A SERIES of community consultation events will be held over the next week on proposed new bird hides at South Walney Nature Reserve.
With support from Arts Council England and WREN - a not-for-profit business that helps benefit the lives of people who live close to landfill sites by awarding grants for community, conservation and heritage projects - Cumbria Wildlife Trust has commissioned Art Gene to design a new plan for the site.
They want to involve the community in helping with the master planning process and contribute to the design of two installations which will be installed on site. For details see http://www.cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk/.
