INTERNATIONAL rugby stars are coming to Cumbrian schools to give students financial advice.
Sale Sharks is launching its Number Cruncherz scheme to use rugby to make financial education more memorable.
It is a free scheme and the club is asking schools to sign up now.
Jonny Acheson, Sale Sharks Community Trust Manager, said: “Number Cruncherz is a fantastic two-day programme for Year 7 children that teaches young people about better money management through fun and interactive rugby-themed activities.
“Our community coaches have been delivering it for the past 12 months with the help of some of our star players and the feedback has been fantastic – children and teachers absolutely love it and it helps schools integrate financial education into the classroom."
