THE ever-popular Flowers of the Dales Festival has returned with more than 100 events celebrating the wildflowers of the Yorkshire Dales.
Tanya St. Pierre, MT’s Flowers of the Dales Project Officer, said: “As well as our customary range of wildflower walks, talks, and children’s events, we’re very excited to be able to offer some more unusual events this year, including conservation and volunteering opportunities, bioblitz events, scything courses and a chance to spend an afternoon with the Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen.”
The fstival programme is available from National Park centres and can be viewed and downloaded at www.ydmt.org/Festival2015.
