ITV drama ‘Safe House’ could do for Coniston what ‘Broadchurch’ did for the south coast, according to Cumbria Tourism.
Last Monday saw 5.6 million people tune in to watch the first episode of the four-part drama.
The village benefitted economically during filming and it is hoped that with millions of viewers tuning in the community will receive a further boost.
