DELIGHTED schoolchildren received a final visit from the engineers responsible for improvements at their village school.
National Grid has helped to buy £10,000 worth of equipment, such as a waterproof playground, for Old Hutton Primary as the company upgraded its substation in the village.
Now the work is done, the workmen visited the school to say goodbye.
Engineer Luke Sewell said: "It’s been an absolute pleasure working with staff and pupils at the school throughout the project and it’s such a great feeling knowing we’ve been able to give something so positive back to the local community in Old Hutton."
