VALE OF LUNE 7
Broughton Park 41

Vale of Lune ended their home league season with a disappointing second half performance against a side chasing a second place play off slot.

Broughton Park dominated the second half against a lack lustre Vale side who were easily brushed aside by their much more powerful opponents.

However, the Vale offered some resistance in the first 40 and played with spirit, trailing 10-7 at half time.

The ever alert David Schuyler collected a deserved try in the 30th minute, converted by man of the match Andy Garnett from a difficult angle.

Two early scores from Park in the second half put the Vale on the back foot; they were unable to contain visitors who romped away to a comprehensive victory.
