POLICE are appealing for information after a man entered a ground floor flat near Cark-in-Cartmel by smashing a small window pane.
Officers say the man got into the flat, which is part of a converted manor house, between 9am on August 14 and 11am on August 15.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen, but police want to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area.

They are also appealing for anyone with information about people sleeping rough in the area to contact them on 101.
