MORECAMBE chairman Peter McGuigan has heaped praise on the unsung heroes' behind the scenes at Christie Park.
McGuigan reckons Monday's stunning win over York City and forthcoming Wembley play-off final is a just reward for all the club's backroom staff and volunteers.
He says: "This is great not only for the players and management and fans and directors but for all the people who work behind the scenes.
"Day in and day out these people turn up and don't get a penny - this is for them."
