THERE have been 160 farm fatalities due to accidents over the past five years, according to Health and Safety Executive figures.
The figures were revealed following the deaths of two farm workers who were overcome by fumes in a slurry pit in East Yorkshire earlier this month.

The fatalities have prompted a warning from the NFU for farmers and their employees to be wary of workplace dangers.
