A MAN was airlifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack in the Lake District yesterday (Thursday).
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Windermere at around 3.15pm.

The 59-year-old man, from Hull, was treated by GNAAS and North West Ambulance Service before he was flown to hospital in Blackpool within 10 minutes.
He arrived in a critical condition.
