A BOY from Grange-over-Sands was flown to hospital after his condition deteriorated in an ambulance.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service's The Pride Of Cumbria was called to Cark at 2pm on Saturday to assist North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
The youngster was being taken to hospital by ambulance for an unknown reason when his condition deteriorated.
An aircrew doctor and paramedics assessed and treated the child before he was anesthetised and flown to the James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough.
