ONE of the landmark films of silent cinema will be screened with a live score outdoors in Lancaster Castle’s courtyard courtesy of The Dukes as part of First Friday on April 1 (7.30pm). Nosferatu is an iconic take on the story of Dracula and will be accompanied with music, composed and performed by Lancaster-based duo Lee Affen and Ric Smithson who have previously scored The Phantom of the Opera and Metropolis for The Dukes. Meanwhile, the same night over at The Dukes is Ghost Box, and intimate and immersive 20-minute live performance for four people, which is part science experiment, ghost story, and illusion. Box office on 01524-598500 or online at www.dukes-lancaster.org.
