A FORMER Kendal lingerie shop could become a restaurant after town councillors recommended approval to change the use of the premises.
Planning permission for the disused unit, formerly called Bliss on Lowther Street, is being sought to alter the licence from retail to a drinking establishment to allow trading as a restaurant and bar.

With the Kendal Town Council recommendation, the application will now go before South Lakeland District Council which will decide whether or not to grant planning permission.
