A MIDSUMMER Marquee in the grounds of St John's Hospice was the venue for celebration event to mark its 30th anniversary.
Staff and volunteers who have been with the hospice since it opened in 1986 were each presented with a gift and a copy of a new publication 'An Illustrated History of our Hospice.'
Sue McGraw, CEO, said: “Our pearl anniversary is an important milestone in the hospice’s history, we couldn’t let this day go by without thanking those loyal and dedicated members of our team – staff and volunteers – who have been here from the start.”
More than 160 people attended enjoying a cheese and wine reception with entertainment.
The illustrated history of St John’s Hospice is on sale with a suggested donation of £5 per copy.
