SEVEN new business units are planned for a Kendal industrial estate beside the River Kent.
Applicant Morris and Selby Homes, of Kendal, is seeking to renew an expired planning consent for the units proposed at Dockray Hall Road.
The gravel-and-tarmac surfaced site - a vacant storage compound - has a medium flood risk, according to the Environment Agency. Planning documents lodged with South Lakeland District Council state that electrics on the ground floor would be raised, while offices would be located on the first floor.
