POLICE are investigating the burglary of a house in Kendal over the festive period during which windows were smashed and damage caused to interior furnishings.
Officers launched an appeal for witnesses after the break-in at the property near Kendal Parks Road between 6pm on Friday, December 23, and 2pm on Saturday, December 24.
Cumbria Police spokeswoman said three windows were smashed with stones, after which damage was caused to furnishings and other items inside the house.
Anyone with information shold contact Pc 2386 Norman on the force's non-emergency number 101, quoting log number 142 of December 24.
