Keen amateur baker Liz Sharp decided to go the extra mile to raise money for a charity where she volunteers.
Liz, who lives at Kendal, baked Valentine's Day-themed cakes and sold them in the town centre and in local businesses and pubs, including Burgundy's, on Tuesday.
"I had a trial run last Saturday and in just 90 minutes I raised £43," said Liz.
She was raising money for Kendal-based Space2Create, which supports and helps people recovering from a range of physical and mental health conditions. It runs creative sessions that allow those taking part to grow in confidence and make positive steps towards their recovery.
Liz is no stranger to charitable fund-raising. Between September and Christmas last year she raised £1,800 for Macmillan Cancer Support by selling cakes and also busking in Kendal.
On Tuesday, her cake-selling raised a further £107 for Space2Create.
