AN EXCITING piece of dance based on an epic tale is billed to have audiences on the edge of their seat.
Award-winning choreographer James Wilton has reimagined Herman Melville’s seminal novel, Moby Dick, in a terrific blend of athletic dance, martial arts, capoeira and partner-work, accompanied by a powerful electro-rock soundtrack by Lunatic Soul. Staged at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre on Wednesday, March 1 (8pm), Wilton's Leviathan follows Ahab, a ship captain hell-bent on capturing the white whale: Moby Dick.
