MORE than 5,500 people travelled on the special steam-powered service that ran for three days on the Settle to Carlisle Line last week.
The Tornado locomotive hauled 12 Northern services on the line with thousands of train enthusiasts gathering along the route to see the spectacle.

Northern put on the service in partnership with DB Cargo UK, A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, the Friends of Settle and Carlisle Line (FoSCL), Rail and Steam Railway in a bid to thank passengers for their patience following the disruption to services following the landslip at Eden Brows in February 2016.
